Hi 4 Leah,

Welcome to Grade 4! I hope you’re all excited about getting into lots of learning, as well as some fun, of course! 😉 I am so thrilled to have each one of you in my class this year. It’s going to be great getting to know each of you so much more…….let’s start this journey of Grade 4 together! 🙂

Make sure you check out this blog at least once a week, so that you know what’s happening in the classroom. Throughout the year, I’ll post lots of information about our different units of study (such as Science, Integrated Studies, Literacy and Maths, to name a few), so if you and your parents log onto the blog, you’ll be the first to know what’s coming up. I also want to encourage you to write comments to me on the blog (I’ll show you how to do this in the first few days of school), and you can do this for everything from the ‘Words of the Week’ to suggesting different websites that you’ve found that you think might interest others in the class. If you’re really keen, you could also start your own blog (I can show you how to do this, too), and we’ll put a link to it on this blog (don’t worry about this until later in the year).
