August13

Hi 4 L,

Wow! Can you believe that it’s already the middle of Term 3? How time flies!! 😉

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend, and are ready to get back into everything tomorrow. This week is going to be jam-packed with so much……..typing club, learning about division in Maths, finishing off your procedures about ‘How to put a patient in the recovery position’…..oh, and let’s not forget about the excursion on Friday to Cook’s Cottage! 😉 There is just so much on!!

I hope you’re all looking forward to another amazing week in 4 L!

I’m really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow,

Leah 😉

Welcome, Elisa and Anand, to 4 L! 😉 We’re looking forward to getting to know you much more this term.

I hope everyone else has settled into this term. It has been wonderful seeing all of you, with lots of enthusiasm over these past few days. 😉

Don’t forget……if you didn’t get a project outline, make sure you ask me for one tomorrow, as Part 1 of the project is due on Monday.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow,

Leah 😉

Enjoy your EXTRA long weekend!!

March12

Hi 4 Leah,

I hope you’re all enjoying your extra long weekend! 😉 I’d love to know what you’ve been doing these past few days…….send me a comment or two, and you may even get some Table Team points!! 🙂

Just a couple of reminders for next week, as you’re not back until Wednesday:

  • There will be no spelling pre-test this week BUT there will still be a post-test on Wednesday.
  • Make sure you bring your Reading Journal and Spelling homework book on Wednesday, too. 🙂

I hope you all have a fabulous super long weekend! I look forward to seeing you all back at school on Wednesday,

Leah 🙂

It’s all about camp……….

February12

Hi 4 Leah,

Well, camp seems almost like a distant memory now…….I know, it was only last week, but it has already come and gone! But, that doesn’t mean that your memories of your favourite activities have disappeared. And so, with this in mind, I’d love you to share with me the best bits of camp……whether it was the giant swing, low ropes course, archery, camp fire, or just sleeping in the same cabin as your friends! Whatever it was, I’d love to hear about it! 😉 So, get cracking with your comments, and we’ll have a fabulous time reminiscing about last week’s camp. 😉

I hope you’ve all had lots of sleep over the weekend, after many late nights on camp. I look forward to seeing all of the lovely bright and bubbly faces of 4L tomorrow!

Leah 😉

It’s Maths Competition week!!

July24

Hi 4 Leah,

Well, it’s finally here! For those of you who have been preparing for the Maths competition, it’s on Thursday. Good luck! You’ll be great! 😉

This week, we’re also going to start our new Science unit and start to prepare for the student-led conferences in a few weeks’ time. We’ll have a couple of practices before you do the conferences with your parents, so there’s nothing to worry about.

I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend! I look forward to hearing about what you did over these past couple of days!

Until tomorrow,

Leah 😉

It’s the last week of Term 2!!

June19

Hi 4 Leah,

I can’t believe that we’re at the end of Term 2! Time has just flown by! In less that a week, it’ll be school holidays! I’d love to know what you’re going to do during the holidays. Send me a comment or two about your escapades. 😉

This week, we’re going to have a bit of a celebration for our wonderful term together. We’re going to have a PARTY on Wednesday!! Woo hoo!! 😉 But for our party to happen, you need to bring some food to share with everyone (no soft drink, though).

I hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend, with loads of fun! Did anyone have a sleepover, as it seems to be something that’s been happening a lot? Let me know if you did!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning,

Leah 😉

Camp Rumbug, here we come!!

February21

Hi 4 Leah,

I know that I don’t need to remind you that camp is tomorrow, but what I do need to remind you of is the rule that when on camp, YOU MUST HAVE LOADS OF FUN (I’m pretty sure that you don’t need to be reminded of this either!)! 😉

I’d love to know what you’re looking forward to on camp. Is it the giant swing? The mud run? The flying fox? Send me a comment about what you can’t wait to do on camp. I look forward to reading them. 🙂

I hope you’re all packed, ready to go. Remember to be at school at 8.30am tomorrow so that we can get your bags packed onto the bus. And don’t forget to bring a snack, lunch and drink bottle in a backpack for the bus.

Until tomorrow,

Leah 😉
